BORDERLINE
FEATURING THE STORIES OF SR. FRANCESCA HUERTA, FSPB
Sr. Francesca is an Argentine nun from the Franciscan Sisters of the Precious Blood. She has resided in the United States for the past six years working primarily with teens in the slums of Amboy, New Jersey. She is known and loved by all for her compassionate heart, understanding, and especially for her fantasy filled stories surrounding the border between Mexico and the United States. She hopes to express to her teens the damage sinful patterns cause in their lives and the need for daily conversion.
“Christian artists: I wish to remind each of you that the close alliance that has always existed between the Gospel and art means that you are invited to use your creative intuition to enter into the heart of the mystery of the Incarnate God and at the same time into the mystery of man.”
- LETTER OF HIS HOLINESS BLESSED JOHN PAUL II TO ARTISTS
